What is the Akinse’s Career Readiness Program?

Akinse’s career readiness program is a breakthrough course which will teach you the essential skills which are required by the leading employers.

In today’s innovation-driven economy, employers are looking for a different mix of skills than in the past. In addition to foundational skills like literacy and numeracy, they need competencies like critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and problem-solving, effective communication and character qualities like persistence, curiosity and initiative. The program is a seamless integration of these requirements.

It is an intensive online asynchronous workshop designed to help individuals level up. It equips you with real workplace skills that matter.

The program uses Akinse’s learning platform to engage a group of students in an intense four-eight week process. Several candidates have taken the course so far.

Each session of the workshop is led by our trained coaches, who engage with students in individual and group work. We generally have a ratio of one coach for every twenty students. The entire course is conducted in English, and skill and confidence in English is our only specific admission requirement.

It’s not just another online course, it’s a workshop where real work happens. It helps students to learn by doing.

The tuition for the program is INR 15,888 (after 40% limited time discount from the original price INR 26,480). Attending students include freelancers, corporate employees and independent professionals

We're delighted to say no. And no grades, either. We feel really strongly that a test-and-measure culture is ruining education. Though there will be quizzes and assignments to keep the students engaged.

Is the program cost reasonable?

An investment. INR 15,888. And it’s not just the money, it’s the time you’ll be spending as well.

There are two reasons for the tuition. The first is that the program requires a significant amount of commitment. Not only time but the decision to overcome your challenges and status quo. One way we can make that likely to happen is to raise the stakes.

The other reason it’s not free is that in order to build an environment focused on group dynamics and change, we’re investing in people. Every section of the program has a full-time organizer behind it. Our goal isn’t to be big, it’s to be small. Small in size, but huge in our decision to create a difference.

If this sort of change or investment is too much, we totally get it - your dreams are probably too small, or you do not value time - the Career Readiness Program probably isn’t for you. The good news is that all the content is in the world, free online or in accessible books. There are no secrets.

Every investment has a return. Check what you get in return. The cost becomes irrelevant. Look at the achievement.

Is the program accredited?

Proudly, no.

Accreditation makes sense for a certain kind of institution delivering a certain kind of education. But we're not willing to build a test-and-measure culture, not willing to embrace an ancient-yet-standard curriculum, and mostly, we're not willing to distrust our students.

We'll be delighted to offer you a certificate of completion when the program is successfully completed.

More than 40% of our students have their enrolment costs covered by their employer. Check the program page for more information.
